Our Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation course is nationally recognised and will teach you the skills and Knowledge to recognise and manage a casualty who is unconscious and not breathing.

HLTAID011 Provide first aid training will give you the skills and knowledge in a broad range of topics to enable you to assist in an emergency situation, provide basic first aid and respond to anyone who is injured or sick.

Manual handling provides the skills and knowledge required for a worker to be able to participate in safe work practices to ensure their own health and safety, and others in the work environments that involve caring directly for clients.

It also has a focus on maintaining safety of the worker, people being supported and other community members.

Norgrove Training will prepare you for performing the manual task, complete the task and identify the importance of contributing to safe practices.

Our training is focused and designed around face to face, hands on practical, delivered by qualified, professional trainers.

Manual handling applies to all workers who require knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) to carry out their own work, in both centre-based and home-based service provision.

During this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge that are required to prepare for and provide medication assistance and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer their own medication. The course consists of a full day theory and half a day of practical. You are also required to undertake 3 supervised work placement shifts. You will be issued with a statement of attainment once your supervised shifts have been completed.

Suitable for individuals who hold a Certificate III or higher, in an area of direct client care or support.

1.5 days training, plus 3 supervised shifts of work placement.
