I work as the Business Administrator for Norgrove Training and my role is to provide essential business support to clients and students integral to Government Compliance, Government Agencies, Employers and Industry stakeholders. A large part of my role is to work closely with students to support them before and during their qualifications and work placement as well as offering additional support where needed. I am also responsible for arranging class dates and schedules, work placement, Government Reporting and Student follow ups.
I have more than 25 years’ experience in Office Administration, including 6 years within the VET sector. Within that time I have achieved a Certificate IV in Business Administration and TAE (Training and Assessment). At Norgrove Training, I am proud to work with a very supportive team to ensure we can maintain a positive environment which is inclusive, open and friendly.
I am the Training Facilitator at Norgrove Training, as part of my role I am responsible for a wide range of tasks Including, writing training materials in accordance with compliance regulations, maintaining relationships with our industry providers, site visits when students are on work placement and delivering training. I am also responsible for internal moderation and external validation, of all qualifications that are being delivered.
I have 10 years’ experience working in the aged care sector as a care worker and student nurse, both in the Northern Territory and South Australia. I continue to keep my practical skills up to date working on a casual basis at multiple aged care facilities, at an Advance Personal Care Worker Level (Med Comp).
I obtained my Certificate IV in TAA (Training and Assessment) in 2001 and have ensured I’ve maintained required updates of the Trainer/Assessor qualifications at the Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) level. I have also completed a duel Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and Training Design and Development in 2016. I am experienced in delivering training across both the Health Care and Business sectors and have worked for national training organisations for the past 10 years.
My role with Norgrove Training is Human Resources which covers maintaining staff and trainers work history, profiles, records and trainer qualifications for business and compliance needs. I also work as Student Support, utilising my current Certificate IV in TAE (training and Assessment) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) to assist students in preparing and completing their qualifications.
My past experience has been in HR and Training with both National and International Companies across Adelaide and Melbourne. I have many years experience working within the RTO sector with domestic and international students who were studying across a broad range of qualifications.
I have recently joined the Norgrove Training team as a trainer and assessor. I have a strong focus on assessment and compliance with ASQA (Australian Standards Quality Assurance) requirements for successful completion of the Cert III in Individual Support. I am enjoying my new role immensely, the opportunity to train and mentor students on a daily basis and to see them achieve their qualifications is very rewarding. I particularly enjoy preparing students for their work placement and assisting with practical skills in the Norgrove Training specialised Skills Lab.
I have been a carer for 5 years and am qualified to monitor and administer medication and I also hold a current Cert IV in TAE (Training and Assessment)
My role with Norgrove Training is as Administration and Student Services. My main focus is to be at the forefront of customer service and client engagement whilst providing the highest professional standards. In the administrative space, the focus is to ensure all student records, results and services adhere with training sector compliance standards.
I have multiple years of experience within the VET sector for the Construction Industry with a recent move to the Aged Care sector. I enjoy working to my key strengths in client engagement and relationships whilst producing a continual positive brand for Norgrove Training.
My role at Norgrove Training is Administration and Reception which involves looking after student records and assignments, helping students with everyday queries and supporting the Administration team with the day to day running of Norgrove Training.
I’ve been with Norgrove Training for the past 5 years and prior to that I was working in the Insurance sector. I have completed a Certificate III in Business Administration.
