During the full day training session at our fully equipped simulated facility you will cover:
First aid training will give you the skills and knowledge in a broad range of topics to enable you to assist in an emergency situation, provide basic first aid and respond to anyone who is injured or sick.
During the 2 day training session at our fully equipped simulated facility you will cover:
This qualification needs to be updated every 3 years.
During this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge that are required to prepare for and provide, medication assistance and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer their own medication. The course consists of a full day theory and half a day of practical. You are also required to undertake 3 supervised work placement shifts. You will be issued with a statement of attainment once your supervised shifts have been completed.
This qualification is aimed at Care Workers, people working within Aged Care, Community and Disability Sectors.
Suitable for individuals, who hold a Certificate III or higher, in an area of direct client care or support.
