Our Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation course is nationally recognised and will teach you the skills and Knowledge to recognise and manage a casualty who is unconscious and not breathing.
During the full day training session at our fully equipped simulated facility you will cover:
HLTAID011 Provide first aid training will give you the skills and knowledge in a broad range of topics to enable you to assist in an emergency situation, provide basic first aid and respond to anyone who is injured or sick.
During the 2 days of training at our fully equipped simulated facility you will cover.
This qualification needs to be updated every 3 years.
Our manual handling course, is designed to train participants on how to carry out their work safely, to remove the risk of accidents and injuries. Our highly skilled and motivated trainers will not only teach you the theory behind safe manual handling, but you will also learn the practical skills, in our fully equipped simulated skills lab. Participants will learn the correct ways to lift and move clients using the latest manual handling equipment, including Hoists, Hospital beds and Slide Sheets, all while maintaining correct postures to ensure the safety of yourself and others around you.
The course will also cover Duty of Care, Work Health and Safety Legislation, Understanding the No Lift Policies and Preventing Injuries.
Certificate of attendance will be issued
During this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge that are required to prepare for and provide, medication assistance and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer their own medication. The course consists of a full day theory and half a day of practical. You are also required to undertake 3 supervised work placement shifts. You will be issued with a statement of attainment once your supervised shifts have been completed.
This qualification is aimed at Care Workers, people working within Aged Care, Community and Disability Sectors.
Suitable for individuals, who hold a Certificate III or higher, in an area of direct client care or support.
1.5 days training, plus 3 supervised shifts of work placement.
