Certificate III in Individual Support Training in Adelaide

• Minimum 5 weeks full-time on-campus training, (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm) and
• 3 weeks (120 hours) Industry Placement (arranged by Norgrove Training)

• Eligible funded students - $450.00.
  (please refer to skills.sa.gov.au for Participant Eligibility Criteria, or contact us for further details.)
• Fee for Service - $3,500 (Applicable for students who are not eligible for funding)
• National Police clearance: $42.00. This is a mandatory requirement for work placement.
• DCSI Checks – Individually, they cost $115.50 each. (This is an optional requirement, depending on placement requirements & career outcomes.)
• Clothing: black trousers & black fully enclosed shoes.

• Nationally recognised qualification providing quality industry endorsed education and training in the most effective and professional manner, with a proven track record of success.
• South Australian Government funding available for eligible students through Skilling SA.
• Face-to-face training in one of our fully equipped, simulated skills labs ensuring students receive a practical, hands-on learning experience.
• Additional units included in our training - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Provide first aid and Manual Handling.
• Assistance in applying for all necessary clearances required for working in this sector including, National Police Clearance (This is a mandatory requirement for completion of this qualification), and child related employment screening – DCSI (Optional).
• Students have access to individualised one-on-one support when assistance is needed to meet the requirements of the training.

By successfully completing the study and work placement, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification, which will clearly demonstrate your suitability to potential employers for employment opportunities in Disability Support or Aged Care including:

• Disability Support Worker
• Aged Care Worker
• Personal Carer

• Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) abilities.
• Must not be enrolled at school and above the age of 16 years old
• At least 3 doses of Covid vaccinations (This is a mandatory requirement for placement organised by Norgrove Training)
• Current flu vaccination (This is a mandatory requirement for placement organised by Norgrove Training)
• Must be able to obtain a valid national police clearance. (This is a mandatory requirement for placement)
