An Introduction to Individual Support

• 4 weeks of training comprising:
  • Face-to-face training, delivered on campus Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
• 30 hours of Work Placement, sourced by Norgrove Training:

• Eligible funded students - $400.00.

• Nationally recognised skill sets with quality industry endorsed education and training in the most effective and professional manner, with a proven track record of success.
• South Australian Government funding available for eligible students through Skilling SA.
• Face-to-face training in one of our fully equipped, simulated skills labs ensuring students receive a practical, hands-on learning experience.
• Additional unit included in our training - Manual Handling.
• Students have access to individualised one-on-one support when assistance is needed to meet the requirements of the training.

Units may change subject to the individual needs of the enrolled student and/or the employer with whom Norgrove Training partner to deliver this accredited qualification. Students may be fast tracked based on their previous skills, knowledge, experience and prior education. Please ask us about Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer services.
The following documents must be provided prior to placement and may be subject to change depending on individual organisation requirements:

• National Police Clearance

• All applicants must undertake a short pre-enrolment assessment to determine whether this is the best course for their needs, including a review of the applicant’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and digital literacy skills. Applicants must demonstrate a satisfactory level of LLN and digital literacy abilities as required in the training product and to prepare them for work in this industry.
• Must not be enrolled at school and above the age of 16 years old.
